NGC1784 Galaxy in Lepus

NGC1784 is a  4,1′ × 2,6′arcmin.sized and 12.0mag bright barred spiral galaxy of Hubble type SB(r)c in the constellation of Lepus.The real distance is about 11mio.light-years.

It was first seen by John Herschel in 1836
