NGC895 is a 3,6′ × 2,6′ sized and 11,7mag bright galaxy in the constallation of Cetus.It is typed SA(s)cd and has a real distance of about 120mio.light-years from us.
In September 2003 there could be observed the 17.5mag bright supernova SN2003id.
It was first seen bý William Herschel in 1785.
