The brightest member of this Eridanus-Galaxy-Group is the 13,5mag bright NGC1221.The real distance is about 400 Mio.light-years and it is of the lenticular-type S0/a.The other galaxies of this group are even dimmer.
NGC1221 was first seen by Francis Leavenworth in 1886.
