NGC 300 Spiral Galaxy in Sculptor

NGC 300 is a face-on spiral galaxy in the constellation Sculptor and a member of the Sculptor Group. It is likely that NGC 300 and nearby NGC 55 form a gravitationally bound pair.
The distance to this galaxy is 6 Million light years. Many active H-alpha areas are visible in all parts of this galaxy.
