This fine SAB(s)c-barred spiral galaxy can be found in the constellation of Virgo and in named NGC4535.Its real distance of about 55 mio.light-years makes it appear as a weak
6,9′ × 5,2′ patch in a midsized telescope by a magnitude of about 11.0 mag.

NGC4535 is a member of the Virgo Galaxy-Cluster.It was first seen by William Herschel in 1785.
