Abell 72 (PK 59 -18.1) Planetary Nebula in Delphinus

Mainly emitting radiation in the line of OIII,this Planetary Nebula Abell 72 shines in a very greenish colour.Sized  2.2’x2.0′ it is only a small one and with a magnitude of 13.8mag a difficult object for even bigger telescopes.

Its real distance isn´t know exactly till today.

The tiny galaxy to its south is named PGC 65491 and has a real distance of about 194 mio.light-years.
