NGC1073 is a fairly large (5.0` x 4.5`),faced-on galaxy,located in the constellation of Cetus.It has a barred structure and is classified as type SB(rs)c.Its distance is about 55 million lightyears from our sun.Possibly there exists a black in it,discovered by CHADRA,an X-ray-Space-Telescope of NASA.
The galaxy was discovered on October 9th,1785 by William Herschel.Its brightness is about 11,0mag and can be visually with a 6inch-telescope.
