Abell 22 or PK 215 +11.1 is a very faint Planetary Nebula situated in the constellation of Canis Minor. Its central parts are sized 2.1 x 1.4 arc-minutes,wheres its vey dim Ha-shell measures about 6x4 arc-minutes.
The central nebula resembles the famous Little Dumbbell-Nebula in the constellation of Perseus (https://www.messier-objects.com/messier-76-little-dumbbell-nebula/).
Little is known about Abell 22,even its real distance is speculative, but it seems to be greater than 10.000 light years. The strongest emissions take place in H-alpha,whereas the OIII-ones are very weak.
Gearge Abell noted it first in his catalogue in 1966.
