67 million light-years away in the constellation of Sculptor you can find the apparently 10mag bright and 5′.2 × 2′.6 sized barred spiral galaxy NGC613.It was discovered by William Herschel in 1798.The classification as a SBbc(rs) typed galaxy indicates its barred centre. There is strong star formation at the ends of this bar, which also extends to its blue spiral arms.
Its nucleus is a strong source of radio emission. Its structure suggest the presence of a massive black hole of more then 100x the mass of our sun.
